At the Tennessee Songwriters Association International (TSAI), our mission is simple: to inform, train, assist, and look out for creators at every single step of their musical journey. We bridge the gap between the bedroom songwriter and the Nashville music industry, transforming raw creativity into lasting opportunity.

Led by our Executive Director, Jenna Marotta, and dedicated Board members, TSAI is run by music creators, for music creators. Whether you are walking through our doors on East Trinity Lane or joining a workshop from the other side of the globe, you are a vital part of our co-writing circle.

At the helm of TSAI, Jenna brings a relentless passion for preserving the craft of songwriting while actively building pathways for independent creators. Driven by the core belief that every songwriter deserves a seat at the table, she leads the organization with vision, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to our community's growth.

Our History

For over 40 years, TSAI has proudly operated as an organization deeply rooted in the heart of Music City. What began as a local gathering of Nashville writers has grown into a globally connected community. Today, our motto remains proudly unchanged: "Say It With Music." Through decades of shifting music markets, we’ve stood by our members with weekly workshops, song critiques, Pitch-a-Pro nights, and our celebrated annual Symposium.
